MedQuest Pharmacy opened its doors for business in August of 1996 to fill a need for custom compounded products for the age-management industry. With no software on the market to meet the demands of a nationwide compounding pharmacy, we looked internally to design software to meet our expanding needs. Beginning with an MS Access program to run the pharmacy's order fulfillment, we rapidly approached its limitations in 2001. At that time we switched to InstaScript, a web based platform with the vision of offering our physicians the ability to view their patients' history and profile from anywhere in the country. It was further expanded to provide electronic prescription capabilities, barcode scanning and e mail shipping notifications. Unfortunately the platform it was built on was unable to withstand our continued growth and in 2005 MedQuest Pharmacy embarked on an ambitious quest to once again set a new standard for the compounding industry.

Emedplus will encompass both pharmacy fulfillment and electronic medical record (EMR) capabilities. The process will begin at the physician's office where they will utilize a complete EMR piece to run their age-management practice. Designed specifically by and for our physicians, this software will meet their specific needs in maintaining electronic medical records that can be accessed throughout the country in a secure environment. Electronic prescriptions will then be sent through emedplus to MedQuest where all order processing will be handled. Our goal is to provide the highest quality products with the most complete patient care from physician to pharmacy to patient.
